We teach with these Biblical views in mind.
1. The Bible, in its original manuscripts, as a whole or in part, is without error and is the infallible revelation of God to man. It not only contains the Word of God but is the Word of God. "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;" (2 Tim 3:16)
2. God eternally exists as three Persons of one God head: The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God the Father sent his Son, Jesus, through virgin birth, in human form, to exist as God and man on Earth, leading a sinless life. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being." "And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth." (John 1:1-3, 14) ". . . a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel." (Isa 7:14, Mat 1:23) "For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin." (Heb 4:15)
3. We are all sinners by nature and by practice and therefore imperfect in our flesh. Jesus paid the price for our sins by death upon a cross, and then rising again on the third day, that all who receive Him may be forgiven. ". . . for all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
4. Salvation is a free gift offered to all who will accept and is not something to be earned by works. Salvation has already been purchased for us by the sacrificial death of Jesus. "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23) "For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
5. We have the right to raise and teach our children in a Godly manner and they are gifts given to us from God, placed under our stewardship. We believe we have the right to teach them at home. "These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up.” (Duet 6: 6-7)
